Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, A Hot Commodity On The Winter Exchange
JAKARTA - The name of Napoli's player, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, is being a hot topic of conversation in the winter market, January 2025.
Liverpool are a team that looks very serious about chasing the 23-year-old. The Reds explored the possibility because they saw the chances of Khvicha not reaching an agreement with Napoli.
The winger's contract expires in 2027, but the extension agreement with the Partenopei was not reached.
However, instead of getting the signature of Khvicha, Paris Saint-Germain is now in pole position.
PSG has reached an oral agreement with Napoli of around 63 million pounds to sign Khvaratskelia. Reportedly, this weekend, an official agreement will be made.

At this stage, no PSG players are expected to be part of the deal considering Milan Skriniar and Randal Kolo Muani are looking for other options besides Napoli.
Before PSG arrived, Liverpool were closely linked to Khvicha's move. However, Reds manager Arne Slot declined to respond to the speculation.
"In my opinion, this is January. I said after West Ham's match, don't disappoint me, please mention all these names (which are associated with Liverpool)."
"That's what's happening now. Nine of the 10 times, 99 times from 100 times, at the end of the transfer market it became clear that almost all of these stories were not true."
"What can I comment on? Rumors? Just go ahead, but there will be no comment from my side," said Arne Slot.
Kvaratskhelia has agreed to private terms with PSG over a five-year contract. Previously, the Georgian had informed Antonio Conte that he wanted to leave this month.
He actually wanted to go to Paris in the summer, but Napoli closed the door for a possible move.
Kvaratskhelia was the best player in Serie A when Napoli ended their 33-year wait to win the Scudetto in May 2023.
Meanwhile, Napoli are targeting Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United and Timo Werner, who are loaned to Tottenham from RB Leipzig, as a candidate to replace Khvicha Khvaratskelia.
