Fugitives That Make Teenagers Killed By Cianjur Trotoar Fence Surrender

JAKARTA - The Cianjur Resort Police, West Java, received the surrender of AI (16), the perpetrator of a motorcycle chase that left a teenager dead stuck on the sidewalk fence of Jalan Suroso on Wednesday (8/1).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cianjur Police, AKP Tono Listianto, said that AI had fled for several days outside the city after being on the Cianjur Police wanted list (DPO) and finally surrendered accompanied by his parents.

"Had had a DPO for a few days and finally surrendered to the Cianjur Police Headquarters so that the officers immediately conducted an examination of the perpetrators in the Satreskrim room," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 13.

Currently, five of the six perpetrators have been arrested in connection with a fatal chase that caused the victim HZM to die stuck on a fence on the sidewalk on Jalan Suroso, Cianjur, Wednesday (8/1), after the motorcycle he was driving was kicked by the perpetrator.

Tono asked another DPO with the initials M (16) to immediately surrender before the police took measured decisive action during the pursuit because the whereabouts of the perpetrators had been detected.

"We ask perpetrator M to immediately surrender himself because officers have been deployed to pursue. The perpetrators are charged with multiple articles and the Child Protection Law with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison," he said.

Previously, the Cianjur Police arrested four perpetrators who caused a teenager HZM (15) to die stuck in a sidewalk fence on Jalan Suroso on Wednesday (8/1) after his motorbike was kicked by the perpetrators.

E and the perpetrators with the initials FN (20), MF (16), R (16), and MRP (16) were arrested at their respective homes in the Cianjur area, while the other two perpetrators are still being chased.

"After seeing CCTV and asking for witness testimony, we got the identities of six perpetrators who caused the victim to die and two others were seriously injured. Four people were arrested, while two others are still at large," he said.

Even from a number of other CCTVs obtained by officers, found before the victim died, six perpetrators with three motorbikes threw stabs at the victim's body several times and two of their friends before kicking the victim's motorbike.
