The following is a synopsis of the drama Small Police Station:

Small Police Station tells the story of Chang Sheng (Guo Jing Fei), a police dealer at Huacheng Police Station, facing two crises in his career and personal life: his hopes of being promoted to deputy director have dashed, and his long-standing marriage to his wife, Zhou Ying (Chen Shu), are coming to an end.

During this difficult time, an unexpected opportunity arose when Lao Sun, an officer stationed at the Dongzhai Police Station within his jurisdiction, suddenly died while on duty.

Trying to escape the problem, Chang Sheng decided to take over the remote Dongzhai Police Station.

Arriving in Dongzhai, Chang Sheng was overwhelmed by the frequent theft of cargo at the police station and the various challenges posed by local villagers.

Life became increasingly difficult for him until he received assistance from Wang Dong Yu (Li Hao Fei), a local school teacher, who taught him how to communicate and deal with villagers. Initially, Chang Sheng and Wang Dong Yu clashed, but they gradually became a very effective team.

While at the police station, Chang Sheng used his charismatic kindness, humor, and personality to solve various problems. He is also very interested in helping villagers get out of poverty, even risking their lives against criminals.

Through his efforts, he finally gained a strong foothold in Dongzhai and revealed hidden truth about Lao Sun's death.
