Cases Of Same-sex Sexual Harassment Allegedly Involve Unram Lecturers, NTB Police Ask For Assistance From The Police Labfor
West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police (Polda) requested the support of the Police Forensic Laboratory (Labfor) in handling cases of alleged sexual harassment of same-sex with the alleged perpetrator of a lecturer with the initials LRR.
"We will ask for help from the laboratory regarding the use ofliedetector against the alleged reported party," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police, Senior Commissioner of Syarif Hidayat in Mataram, Monday, January 13, confiscated by Antara.
The use of sophisticated tools belonging to the National Police Labfor is to ensure that the alleged perpetrator is honest in giving information to the police.
From the results of the interim examination, Syarif saw that the alleged perpetrator seemed dishonest in providing information to the police.
Therefore, the police have again scheduled an LRR examination with the completeness of thelie detector from the National Police Labfor.
Dalam tahap penyelidikan ini, pihak kepolisian telah mengantongi keterangan empat orang korban dengan salah satu di antaranya pelapor.

At this stage, the police plan to carry out a case reconstruction if the investigator has pocketed the information of the alleged perpetrator in the agenda of the second examination.
Coordination with the Child Protection Agency (LPA) of Mataram City and the Coalition to Stop NTB Sexual Violence is also an effort by the police to see criminal indications.
"If it is deemed sufficient, we will hold it to determine the follow-up to the handling," he said.
The NTB Regional Police are handling this case based on a report by one of the victims on December 26, 2024.
The victim who reported was an alumni student from the reported party. Meanwhile, the reported party in this case works as a lecturer who teaches at a number of universities in Mataram City.
In the report, the victim admitted to receiving sexual harassment behavior from the reported party in mid-September 2024 when there was an activity at the reported party.
