Bomb Explodes At Thailand Pattani Police Station, 10 Police Injured

A total of ten paramilitary police officers were injured after a bomb exploded near the Pattani police station in Muang District, Thailand at 8:07 a.m., Monday 13 January.

Citing Bangkokpost, the location of the exploded bomb is also not far from the Park Pattani kindergarten (TK) building.

Several members of the paramilitary police were hit by other bomb fragments suffering from chest pain due to concussions. Rescue workers have taken them to Pattani Hospital.

Police officials said the bomb was mounted on a motorcycle.

Security camera footage or CCTV shows a man wearing a blue helmet, a long-sleeved green shirt, and beige trousers driving a blue Honda Wave to the scene against traffic flow.

The motorcycle, which was planted with the bomb, was parked at the scene at 7:12 am. Palaku then walked away.
