This unit to be auctioned has an interesting history. Although the owner was initially unknown, research shows that the vehicle was registered on behalf of a Dyckinck of Millburn, New Jersey, in 1916.

In the early 1940s, this vehicle was purchased by Andrew Young from Livingston for $250. Then, in 1944, Young sold it to Roderic "Rod" Blood from West Newton, Massachusetts.

Blood is known as one of the leading automotive collectors of the early era, who collected historic vehicles when it was still considered unique. He became one of the founders of the Veteran Motor Car Club of America.

After Blood died in 1966, his collection was auctioned off. This vehicle then fell to Bill Harrah, a well-known casino entrepreneur, for $6 thousand.

The Model S is then stored at the Harrah's Automobile Collection for 20 years.

After the Harrah's Automobile Collection's collection disbanded in the mid-1980s, the vehicle changed hands several times before it was finally owned bytunate and Janet Cussler.

This vehicle has a very original condition with the patina that shows a long history of its use.

"This may be the only chance to have a Packard Model S in your life," said RM Sotheby's.

The 1906 Packard Model S Touring auction will be conducted without a basic price (without investigation) with an estimated selling price of between 175,000 and 250,000 US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 2.8 billion-Rp. 4 billion).
