Elon Musk Deploys Tesla Cybertruck To Help Fire Victims In Los Angeles

JAKARTA - When a major forest fire hit the Los Angeles area, United States (US), Elon Musk immediately took concrete action to help the victims.

Through its official X account, @elonmusk, announced that it will place Cybertruck electric vehicles with free Starlink and Wi-Fi stations in grid patterns in the areas most in need in the Los Angeles and stripdal areas.

We are going to position Cybertrucks with Starlinks and free WiFi in a grid pattern in the areas that most need it in the greater LA/Malibu area https://t.co/oWilgDyVh5

"We will use the Cybertruck as a mobile base station to provide power to the Starlink internet terminal in the LA area that has lost connectivity," Musk wrote.

This decision was taken despite meaning delaying deliveries of Cybertruck to customers in California in the coming days. Musk insists that helping others is top priority.

"When a disaster occurs, most companies only send money or post about it on social media. But Elon Musk? He immediately acted," said the X/@RealJoePortmanreply to Elon Musk's help.

Another concrete example of Musk's humanitarian actions is sending thousands of Starlink internet devices to Ukraine during the war. In addition, SpaceX has also provided assistance in the form of free Starlink services to victims of the Helene and Milton storms in the United States.

Meanwhile, Tesla's X account also posted a number of Tesla businesses related to this great fire, including providing housing accommodation and providing transportation and food support to affected employees. Then said all Supercharger stations had returned to operation, except for the Pasadena Supercharger which was in the middle of the fire.
