Starting February 2025, Siliwangi Train Trip Implements New Schedule
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia has implemented a Train Travel Graph (Gapeka) 2025 starting February 1, causing the travel schedule for a number of trains to change, including the Siliwangi train related to Sukabumi-Cipat.
This was said by the Public Relations Manager of KAI for Operational Areas (Daop) 2 Bandung, Ayep Hanapi when contacted in Cianjur, West Java, Sunday, saying that prospective train passengers planning to travel from February 1 onwards to check the arrival and departure time of KA Siliwangi.
"The schedule for departures every day is six times and the first from Sukabumi to Cipat will start at 5.15 WIB, while the last trip from Cipat to Sukabumi at 19.30 WIB, please look at the latest schedule on the official website www.kai.id," he said, as quoted by ANTARA.
He explained that the Train Travel Graph (Gapeka) is a guideline for regulating the implementation of train travel which is depicted in the form of a line showing the station, time, distance, speed and position of train travel.
Graphically described for rail travel control ranging from departing, stopping, arriving, intersecting and leasing.
"Not only the Siliwangi train travel schedule, including the purchase of impromptu tickets or go shows that cannot be served at a number of stations such as Cipeuyeum, Ciranjang, Cireungas, Lampegan and Gandasoli stations," he said.
Prospective passengers can buy tickets online through the KAI application or through the Loket Box and various other external channels that have collaborated with KAI.
