IPad 11 Expected To Release Spring With Big Update

JAKARTA After more than two years, Apple will finally release an update for their cheapest iPad, the iPad 11, this spring of the year. This model has not received a major update since the previous generation iPad, which still relies on the A14 chipset which is over four years old. Last year, the price of this iPad was cut from $449 to $349, but this time, a more significant update is expected to come with the iPad 11.

One of the biggest updates expected on the iPad 11 is support for Apple Intelligence. While it is not yet clear which chipset will be used, Apple will most likely use the A18 chip on this model. This is driven by more expensive 3nm processing technology, which could reduce production costs for the chip.

The A17 Pro chipset, used in the latest iPad mini, is most likely used because of the remaining chips available from the iPhone 15 Pro production process. With Apple Intelligence support, the iPad 11 is expected to be able to bring new features such as a summary of notifications, Image Playground, Genmoji, the new Siri, and even integration with ChatGPT, which will further improve the user experience.

In addition, the iPad 11 is also expected to experience a significant increase in connectivity. The model will most likely support Wi-Fi 6E or even Wi-Fi 7, which will replace Wi-Fi 6 in the previous model. In addition, Bluetooth 5.3 is also expected to be present on iPad 11, providing more stable connectivity and lower latency compared to Bluetooth 5.2 in the previous generation iPad.

For the mobile version, the iPad 11 is also expected to be the first to use Apple's 5G modem, which is planned to be present on the upcoming iPad, with an upcoming upgrade in 2026 to the iPhone and iPad Pro models.

Apple is also expected to introduce a new, more affordable Magic Keyboard for the iPad 11. This Magic Keyboard will carry a more traditional design, replacing the folio design on the iPad 10. With a simpler design, this keyboard is expected to offer more convenience to users who want a more functional tablet device to type.

According to a report from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the iPad 11 is scheduled for release in the coming spring, along with the launch of the iPhone SE and iPad Air which will also receive an update. Although the iPad 11 is likely to retain the same design as the 2022 model, this device will get a significant performance improvement thanks to the use of new chips and other advanced features.

Through this update, the iPad 11 will come with a better performance and more complete features, offering a more satisfying user experience after two and a half years without major updates.

With the launch of the iPad 11 getting closer, Apple is expected to meet the expectations of fans who are waiting for the presence of this device as the cheapest but tough tablet option on the market.
