Commission X Of The House Of Representatives Asks The Public To Give Patrick Kluiver The Opportunity To Prove His Ability To Train The National Team

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission X DPR RI, Then Hadrian Irfani invited the public, especially supporters of the Indonesian National Team to respect the decision of the PSSI General Chair, Erick Thohir, who had appointed Dutch national team legend Patrick Kluivert as coach to replace Shin Tae-yong (STY).

This invitation was conveyed Lalu Ari in response to the polemic about STY's dismissal some time ago. In fact, the Indonesian national team will still undergo the third stage of the 2026 World Cup qualification in March.

"Let's give each other a chance. Let's end this polemic together. Is STY more than Patrick? Does Patrick have a past? Okay, let's end all of this. Let's behusnudzon and pray," said Lalu to reporters, Saturday, January 11.

The PKB legislator for the NTB electoral district also invited the Indonesian people to welcome and welcome the new coach of the Patrick Kluivert national team. Then hope that Patrick can bring the Indonesian national team to be better.

"We as a football-loving community, let's pray that Patrick's move to make the national team more great and more resilient can be achieved," he continued.

Then Ari emphasized that Indonesia has a mission so that the national team can enter the 2026 World Cup. The mission, according to him, must be realized.

He also believes that Erick and his team at PSSI have prepared everything needed to bring the Indonesian national team to participate in the 2026 World Cup.

"I also believe that Pak Erick does not want to be ashamed of the steps taken," said Lalu Ari.
