Megawati Surprised Ganjar Was Beaten By Rejecting The Israeli National Team, Even Though Bung Karno Thoughts

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri admitted that she was surprised when the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo became the target of being bullied or bullied when he refused the arrival of the Israeli national team to play football in Indonesia. In fact, the rejection was one of the thoughts of the 1st President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno.

Initially, Megawati said that Bung Karno's teachings and thoughts needed to be transmitted by the state to the next generation of the nation.

"In my opinion, Bung Karno's teaching learning is necessary. It needs to be in my opinion. If someone doesn't agree. We can come to me. We can argue," Megawati said when delivering a speech at the PDIP 52nd Anniversary at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Friday, January 10.

The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia said Bung Karno had devoted his entire life to the people in making a teaching. From there, said Megawati, all the thoughts of Bung Karno could be a clue in carrying out governance.

"His thinking is very relevant to be described as a lamp in state governance. Well, what makes state governance called the constitution, right, all the founders of the nation," he said.

Megawati then talked about Bung Karno's thoughts that had been conveyed at the United Nations entitled "To Build the World a New". It is known that the thoughts in "To Build the World a New" contain important ideas for the survival of the nation's life in the world, especially regarding antiimperialism and anti-colonialism.

"That, right, Bung Karno's mind is extraordinary. This is used in the world by the "To Build the World a New". Where is that? At the United Nations, you know," said Bung Karno's daughter.

However, Megawati continued, Bung Karno's thoughts and teachings, which were recognized by the world, were actually turned off by the New Order (Orba) era.

"Eh, we are with ourselves, the New Order is made up, that's what makes me annoyed to know, as not only Bung Karno's son, but as a child of this country. What do you want to make this country," he said.

Megawati then recalled the attitude of the PDIP DPP Chair Ganjar Pranowo who tried to ground Bung Karno's thoughts about anti-colonialism through efforts to reject Israel's presence in Indonesia. Israel did qualify for the U-20 World Cup when Indonesia hosted the tournament.

At that time, Ganjar rejected Isreal as part of proving loyalty as a party and Indonesian constitution. According to Megawati, Ganjar and Mahfud's steps, which were correct in rejecting Israel, ultimately made the former Governor of Central Java (Central Java) bullied.

"Ganjar spoke correctly, said, bullied, I heard, my inner mind, the child was right, did he want to change or not? It turned out that thank God he didn't, Mr. Mahfud was the same," he said.

Megawati also said it was important for every figure to consistently follow the teachings by not criticizing the attitude of rejecting Israel's presence.

"I said that if I said it was one word of action," he concluded.
