Tobing Post Joins Jack Marpaung To Final Rest

Posan Tobing is one of the musicians who helped Jack Marpaung to his final resting place in San Diego Hills, Karawang, Thursday, January 9 afternoon.

As a Batak-blooded musician, Posan called Jack a great figure who had inspired many musicians after that who came from North Sumatra.

For Posan, one thing that makes Jack very inspiring as a Batak pop singer is his vocal character.

"Many singers are good in the Batak music industry, but I've never found whose voice is really like Jack Marpaung, who is shrill but doesn't hurt his ears," Posan said.

"In my opinion, he is indeed a maestro, legendary, and role model for Indonesian musicians, especially Batak," he continued.

Posan does have great respect for Jack. He was even involved in holding the Batak music concert which coincided with the late's birthday.

From there, Posan felt lucky to get to know Jack further, even though at that time his health condition was not good enough.

"Finally I can meet him directly, chat, the person is very humble, extraordinary, and irreplaceable," he said.

"In direct chat, I know that his condition is already sick. But I intensively meet him, every time we go to Novia Dewi and Alex's house, we chat, of course one way. But from his face it radiates that he is a true musician. Talking to him is like transferring energy to us," he concluded.
