HPN 2025: President Prabowo Ready For Dialogue With Press Actors, Discusses Times Challenges
JAKARTA The person in charge of the 2025 National Press Day (HPN) Summit, Nurjaman Mochtar, revealed that President Prabowo Subianto's presence at the 2025 HPN peak event will be a strong signal of the government's commitment to supporting the progress of the Indonesian press world.
"President Prabowo's presence at the peak of the HPN is expected to provide moral and motivational support for all members of the press," said Nurjaman, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, January 9.
The HPN committee will immediately coordinate with the Palace through the State Secretariat to invite President Prabowo Subianto to attend the peak HPN event on February 9, 2025 in Pekanbaru, Riau.
"As in previous years, the President's presence has always been an important moment that emphasizes the government's attention to the press world," he added.
In addition to delivering a speech, President Prabowo is also expected to have a brief dialogue with the press industry players who attended the event.
The chairman of the 2025 HPN Committee, Marthen SelAMEt Susanto, explained that the theme "Pers with Integrity Towards Golden Indonesia" is very relevant to Indonesia's big vision towards 2045 as a developed country.
"Pers has a big responsibility in maintaining information integrity and supporting a healthy democratic process. Through HPN, we want to encourage press personnel to continue to innovate and collaborate in facing the challenges of the times," explained Marthen.
The 2025 HPN event will be filled with various thematic discussions that discuss strategic issues in the digital era. One of them is an economic seminar that will explore press opportunities in encouraging regional and national economic growth.
