Followed By Taeyeon, Wendy Red Velvet Absent From SMTOWN LIVE 2025 Concert

JAKARTA - Two female singers Taeyeon and Wendy were announced absent from the SM Entertainment agency's annual concert, SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul. This concert will be held for two days, namely 11 and 12 January at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul.

This news was announced by the agency through the official website of ticket sales. Taeyeon was first announced as one of the idols who did not attend the concert.

"Taeyeon Girls Generation did not appear at SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul. We apologize for the change in this line-up," said SM Entertainment.

They also provide options for fans who want to cancel their tickets at no additional cost.

Following Taeyeon, Wendy from Red Velvet was also declared absent at the 30th anniversary of SM Entertainment. They did not explain why Taeyeon or Wendy were not present at this annual concert.

"Wendy Red Velvet will not appear at SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul for personal reasons. We apologize for the change in this line-up," the agency said.

The agency also provides the option to cancel tickets to fans by contacting related parties.

With this announcement, Red Velvet will certainly appear with four members, namely Seulgi, Irene, Yeri, and Joy. Taeyeon, who is a member of Girls' Generation, appears more soloist.

On the other hand, Taeyeon has just announced her latest tour titled the TENSE which is held in several Asian countries, one of which is Indonesia.
