Case Of Accident Kills 3 People In East Lombok, Police Conduct Crime Scene Process
East Lombok Police in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) identified an accident that killed three victims on the Pringgabaya public road to Mataram City, Thursday, January 9.
"There was a collision in a cricket competition and resulted in three deaths after suffering serious injuries," said East Lombok Police Traffic Head Ipda I Nengah Darta in East Lombok, Thursday, January 9, as reported by Antara.
Kanitlaka said the identities of the three victims who died as a result of the collision were Desi and Shanti, a resident of Bima who were female students at a university in Mataram, and Hendry, a resident of Pringgabaya, East Lombok Regency.
"The three victims had received medical treatment at the puskesmas. As a result of the injuries suffered, his life could not be saved," he said.
Information from the public, before the incident, the victim Desi who was riding with Shanti using a Beat motorcycle was traveling at high speed. However, when he arrived at the TKP (the crime scene) opposite the direction of riding a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Hendy.
"Unable to avoid a cricket collision caused the victims to bounce several meters," he said.
As a result of the accident, a victim died at the crime scene and two other victims were rushed by residents who saw the incident to the puskesmas to get help. However, the two victims finally died at the Puskesmas.
East Lombok Police Sarlantas personnel who received information immediately went to the TKP and processed the TKP. The collision case occurred at around 05.30 WITA, it was suspected that the two vehicles were traveling at high speed and resulted in a collision.
"We have processed the crime scene, and the victims have been handed over to their families for funerals," he said.
