Feel The Khasiatya, Wanita Ini Hanya Makan Buah Selama 33 Tahun Terakhir

JAKARTA - Anne Osbourne, a 58-year-old British woman who now lives in Australia, has undergone a very unique diet over the past 33 years, eating only fruit.

No meat, vegetables, dairy products, or carbohydrates. Only fresh fruits are the source of the nutrients. Despite being extreme, Osbourne claims that the diet of fruit she goes through makes her feel healthier and fitter than before.

The woman, who has lived in Australia since 2003, admits that she really likes fruits. In an interview with news.com.au, she admitted that she only consumed fruit to survive. Osbourne said that she was first interested in this unique diet in 1990.

"My interest in this diet began after I attended a lecture in a small room over a bar in England," he said, quoted by VOI from the NY Post page on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

"A local frutarian named David Dunia talks about this diet and seeing his energy, fitness, and vitality makes me want to try it myself. I can see that what David is doing is very successful for him," he continued.

At the time, Osbourne was pregnant with its first child. So it makes a gradual transition from a standard diet, to a general vegan diet, and eventually to a diet of fruit.

"Over the next year, I gradually ate more fruit and fewer vegan foods cooked until finally I went on a 100% raw fruit diet. Now it's 33 years old, and I never regret it," he explained.

Osbourne, which now lives in the small town of Millstream in Queensland, Australia, says it grows with a standard British diet. In fact, his mother is a chef and raised in a meat shop.

"Meat is a big part of our childhood. My mother is a very good chef and used to cook all our food at home. My father planted fresh fruit and vegetables in the garden," he added.

"We ate quite healthy and ate a little processed food. But when I left the house at the age of 19, I became a vegetarian. A year later, I stopped consuming all the animal products and switched to veganism. I immediately felt the health benefits," he continued.

Osbourne's daily diet consists of a variety of fresh fruit that grows locally in the area. It only eats one type of fruit every time it eats, because according to him this is easier for the digestive system.

"Usually, I drink two large glasses of fresh orange juice after returning from the morning run. I used a 1966 Italian vintage juice squeezing. This leaves most of the fiber but produces very delicate juice," he added.

In the morning, he will eat as many seasonal fruit as he wants. Currently, he enjoys local blueberries, papaya, melons, and watermelons. For lunch, he usually eats two or three avocados, which add macro and micronutrient levels on his diet.

"For dinner, I'll eat a big plate of whatever fruit I want. Currently, papaya or blueberries are my favorite dessert," he added.

Even so, Osbourne is also celebrating special events such as Christmas and birthdays with little variety.

"I made raw frutarian cones from organic dry fruit, nuts, carobs, coconuts, and orange juice for these special events," he said.

"When my kids were kids, we had a fun Ferrtarian party with fruit cakes, sauce, and people made of fruit. It was so fun," he added.

The frutarian diet has long received criticism from health professionals who consider it too high in sugar and lack of nutrients important for optimal health. According to the Cleveland Clinic, this diet can be harmful to diabetics or pancreatic and kidney disorders due to high sugar content.

There are also concerns about low levels of vitamin B12, calcium, vitamin D, iodine, and omega-3, which can cause anemia, fatigue, lethargic, and immune system disorders.

However, even though this diet is not for everyone, Osbourne feels his body health is much better after living this lifestyle. He claims that by just consuming high-quality fruit that grows on nutrient-rich soil, he feels very fit.

"The type of soil where fruit grows greatly affects the health benefits of the fruit," he said.

"A mineral-rich land will produce more nutritious fruit. My health is very good. I run and often walk. I also do a lot of physical work in the garden," he continued.

Osbourne also said that the last time she did a blood test, the results were normal and her doctor said that she had the best cholesterol levels she had ever seen, especially in terms of HDL's ratio to LDL.

"I have tremendous energy, injuries or injuries heal quickly, and I went through the menopause period without any negative symptoms," he added.

Although this diet greatly changes his life, Osbourne admits that not everyone will succeed with this lifestyle. However, he still believes that everyone can benefit from adding more fruit to their daily lives.

"There is no need to be a frutarian to benefit from fruit. When a piece of fruit is included in the daily diet of school children, without any other diet changes, there is a big improvement in their academic achievement and behavior," he added.

According to him, eating more quality fruit can improve the quality of life. However, he reminded that this diet is not for everyone. You must be physically, emotionally, and mentally ready, and invest in very quality fruit.
