Getting To Know Hip-Dut Music Through Viral Salt And Honey Songs ( Chest Pain)

JAKARTA - Social media has again shown its role in the introduction of music. Recently, Indonesian netizens were busy talking about hip-dut, a type of music that combines dangdut elements with hip-hop.

The main cause of the appearance of the term hip-dut is the viral song titled 'Garam and Madu ( Chemaku Pain)' which is performed through the collaboration of Tenxi, Naykilla and Jemsii.

The snippet has become so well known by Gen Z who fills the current social media spaces.

'Garam and Madu' has gone viral since the end of last year and has been widely used as background music by netizens on social media. However, the official release on digital streaming platforms was only carried out on January 3.

The music video that aired on YouTube has been around since December 20, and has received more than 14 million views.

Regarding the song 'Garam and Madu (Pataku Pain)', many netizens gave good responses, some even said this song was very viral in Malaysia.

"I thought the full would be boring and it's just fun in the part where the tiktok is, it turns out to be cool from the start to the end, not boring," wrote one netizen.
