Axiata Arena Roof Leaks, Several Malaysian Open 2025 Matches Postponed
JAKARTA Several matches in the first round of the Malaysia Open 2025 had to be postponed due to the roof of the Axiata Arena Stadium being leaked due to heavy rains.
This was confirmed by PBSI Public Relations in an official statement received by the media on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, evening WIB.
"Several matches will be postponed tomorrow due to technical problems at the Axiata Arena since this afternoon," the statement read.
The leak occurred after heavy rains flushed the location of the match since Tuesday afternoon. This problem made the event delay several matches.
