Lampung Prosecutor's Office Asks For Information From The Regent Of Waykanan Alleged Forest Land Control For Plantation
Lampung High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) asked for information from the Regent of Waykanan Regency for the period 2021-2024 Raden Adipati Surya regarding the land mafia in the forest area.
"Raden Adipati Surya is being investigated by a team of investigators at the Assistant for Special Crimes at the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office," said Lampung Attorney General Armen Wijaya in a statement received, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, January 7.
He explained that the person concerned was questioned on Monday at around 10:00 to 22.00 WIB. Raden Adipati was asked for information regarding the alleged control of land in forest areas, Waykanan Regency for plantations.
In addition, the main tasks and functions as regional heads in making decisions related to permits that have been issued during his leadership.
To this day, the Lampung Prosecutor's Office has asked for information from eight people, including the Regent of Waykanan for the period 2021-2024.
"The people we examined came from the forestry service, agencies/agencies related to the issuance of permits, services to the Lampung Provincial Government and from the ministry," he said.

Until now, he continued, the Lampung Prosecutor's Office investigation team was still investigating the mode they used in controlling land in forest areas.
"We continue to explore the modes used, both forest areas in Waykanan Regency and in other regencies, in Lampung Province," he said.
