Lights Off Occurred Suddenly At The Night Of The Muara Enim Regional Election, Volunteers: We Are Suudzan

MUARA ENIM suddenly became a concern for local residents in Muara Enim. The reason is, the incident allegedly affected the results of the vote count after the election took place.

Two residents of Muara Enim told about the blackout incident which suddenly occurred shortly after the election. A resident of Talang Taling Village in Gelumbang sub-district, Fery Ibrahim said the incident took place very quickly and without having prior notification from the relevant authorities.

"The lights suddenly occurred around Pkl 7 9 nights. I don't know why. Until now, there has been no explanation from the local PLN," he said in a statement to the media crew, Saturday, January 4.

Similarly, a resident of Tanjung Medang village in Kelekar District, Muhammat Robin also said the same thing. He did not understand why the lights went out during the election. Whereas in the last few weeks, there has never been a blackout condition in the village.

"I'm sorry, I'm also confused about why the lights went out on election day (27 November). Even though over the last few weeks, there's never been a blackout," said Robin.

Meanwhile, the Head of Muara Enim Maju Volunteers, Arif Hidayatullah, accused the condition of the lights being closely related to the election calculations that were still ongoing that night. According to him, it is undeniable that this condition may be used by certain parties to sabotage the vote count that was taking place at that time.

Until 7 pm, Nasrun Umar-Lia Anggraini was still ahead about 7 percent. But after about 2 hours of turning off the lights, the situation turned around. Of course, we suggest that the light was turned off. Is it intentional and used by certain parties," he said.

Arif also mentioned the general secret of the non-neutrality of the organizers in one of the candidates for the Muara Enim regent. Therefore, according to him, anyone will definitely suspect the death of the lights that suddenly occurred on the night of the election.

"Everyone knows that there is a photo of KPPS members eating with Edison. Then how can we not meet the death of the sudden lights that occurred on the night of the election," he said.
