Bingkai Craftsmen Building In Kramat Jati Fire, Allegedly Due To Employee Negligence
JAKARTA - A building known as a frame-making site in Kramat Jati caught fire. The incident was reported to have occurred at Jembatan III Gang Abdul Rachman RT 08/RW 07 Bale Kambang Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, on Saturday, January 4 evening.
Information from the DKI Jakarta Fire Brigade Command Center, Saturday (4/1), reported that the fire occurred at 21.50 WIB. The blackout ended at around 22.49 WIB.
The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) deployed 11 fire engines with 55 personnel to extinguish the fire.

From ANTARA's report on January 5, the fire was allegedly caused by cigarette butts being dumped carelessly by one of the frame-making employees.
"It is suspected that one of the employees just threw away cigarette butts close to the wooden powder, resulting in fire lighting," he said.
There were no casualties in the incident, but the loss was estimated at tens of millions of rupiah.
