Rows Of Clubs Ready To Accommodate Dani Olmo After Registration Problems At Barcelona

JAKARTA - La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) officially rejected Barcelona's re-registration for Dani Olmo on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

This means that Olmo will not be able to defend the Blaugrana in the second half of this season. Olmo's contract includes a clause that will allow him to leave for free this winter if he is not registered.

However, it turns out that Olmo will also have difficulties if he has to change clubs on the January 2025 exchange.

In addition, the Spanish National Team player is also not considering activating the clause.

Another option could be a loan for six months. The option will also be difficult to realize because Olmo does not have a federative license because Barcelona's re-registration is past the deadline, apart from the agent saying that his client is not listening to any offers at this time.

"It's a tense situation for Dani like any other player, but he's trying to stay calm," Andy Bara, Olmo's agent, told reporters.

"I can confirm that we are not negotiating with any club. Dani is a Barcelona player and he wants to be a Barcelona player."

"He has tried hard in his life to be at Barcelona. It was his wish for a long time."

"Barcelona is the first and last choice. We don't think about other options. I trust Barcelona President (Joan) Laporta and (Director of Sport) Deco."

"I feel they will find a solution and Dani will be registered," said Andy Bara again.

Apart from that, actually many clubs are ready to accommodate Olmo if the player can easily change clubs.

Sky Sports Deutschland reports that a number of big clubs are interested in Olmo. Call it Manchester City, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo said Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United were also in the hunt for the 26-year-old.
