JAKARTA - One of the victims who died in a truck terror attack in New Orleans, United States, is a British citizen.
British police have identified as Edward Pettifier, a 31-year-old man from London whose stepmother is the caretaker of Prince William and Prince Harry.
He was among 14 people killed by an attack by a veteran US Army, who had vowed allegiance to ISIS and crashed a truck into a crowd of happy people at the New Year celebrations.

"The whole family mourns the tragic news of Ed's death in New Orleans," the Pettifer family said in a statement issued by the London Metropolitan Police.
A royal source said King Charles was deeply saddened by Pettifier's death and had contacted his family to express his personal condolences.
Pettifier's father, Charles, a former British Army officer, married Tiggy Legge-Bourke in 1999 shortly after he resigned as caretakers for William and Harry.
The family remains close to the British Royal family and Pettifier's half-brother, Tom, was a servant at William's wedding in 2011.
