Food Prices In Early 2025: Red Rawit Cabe Drops, Chicken Eggs Rise
JAKARTA - The National Food Agency (Bapanas) recorded food prices in early 2025 in general fluctuating, red cayenne pepper fell to IDR 56,690 per kilogram (kg), while broiler eggs rose to IDR 30,930 per kg on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Based on data from the Bapanas Price Panel at 10.00 WIB, in general food prices at the retail level nationally, premium rice fell 0.45 percent or Rp70 to Rp15,350 per kg.
Even so, the price of medium rice rose 1.04 percent or Rp140 to Rp13,610 per kg; while the rice supply stability and food prices (SPHP) Bulog decreased by 1.04 percent or Rp130 to Rp12,350 per kg.
Furthermore, the onion commodity was observed to increase by 0.41 percent or Rp170 to Rp41,400 per kg; as well as cob garlic rose 0.40 percent or Rp170 to Rp42,880 per kg.
Then, the price of curly red chili commodity fell by 3.77 percent or Rp1,920 to Rp48,950 per kg; as well as red cayenne pepper decreased by 5.91 percent or Rp3,560 to Rp56,690 per kg.
Furthermore, the price of pure beef fell 2 percent or Rp2,710 to Rp132,690 per kg; while pure beef rose 4.06 percent or Rp1,540 to Rp39,510 per kg; then broiler eggs also rose 0.23 percent or Rp70 to Rp30,930 per kg.

Furthermore, the price of corn at the farmer level fell 1.98 percent or Rp120 to Rp5,930 per kg; while the price of fine salt with sodium rose 2.52 percent or Rp290 to Rp11,820 per kg.
Furthermore, the price of convex fish was observed to fall 1.08 percent or Rp420 to Rp38,320 per kg; then tuna fish also fell 6.23 percent or Rp2,030 to Rp30,560 per kg; meanwhile, milkfish rose 1.35 percent or Rp460 to Rp34,550 per kg.
