KSAU Emphasizes The Evaluation Of All The 2024 Yudha Angkasa Series

JAKARTA - Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal TNI Mohamad Tonny Harjono said the entire series of exercises with Angkasa Yudha 2024 must be evaluated so that the 2025 Angkasa Yudha event can be carried out better.

"All notes on the results of the evaluation are used as learning material in order to improve the quality of future training," said the KSAU in an official press release from the Indonesian Air Force when chairing an internal meeting at the Air Force Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Tuesday (31/12).

During the meeting, KSAU highlighted several things that had to be improved in the Angkasa Yudha training event.

Some of them are software updates, training doctrines, and anticipation of technical problems such as communication and weather disturbances.

All of this, according to Tonny, must be improved so that the exercise held next year can run optimally.

Despite these various records, Tonny saw that the training event with Angkasa Yudha 2024 had gone well.

Angkasa Yudha is a joint exercise held annually by the Indonesian Air Force. In the exercise, the Indonesian Air Force involved all personnel, squadrons, main weapons system equipment (defense equipment) and aircraft fleets.

The exercise was held in stages from simulations of the preparation of cyber tactics and defense to fighter exercises by plane and simulations of takeover of enemy hijacked airports.

For the 2024 Angkasa Yudha event, the Indonesian Air Force has taken the concept of a simulation to strengthen the airspace of the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

This was done as an effort to strengthen the air defense of the new capital city from foreign attacks.
