Deepal Begins Steps In Singapore With A S07 In January 2025
JAKARTA - An automotive brand from China, Deepal is again expanding its global market and is now coming soon for the Singapore market by introducing S07 as its first EV in the country.
Sgcarmart reported, Tuesday, December 31, that the brand under Changan will make its debut in the lion country through the Singapore Motorshow which will take place January 9-12. One Deepal showroom located at 281 Alexandra Road will start its operations in the same month.
Previously, the brand had arrived in several markets including Thailand, Malaysia, to Australia. For some outside markets, Deepal has offered models such as S07 and L07 which are more compact.
Produced by Changan Automobile and co-developed Huawei and CATL, Deepal S07 comes as a pure EV. With a length of 4,750 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,625 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,900 mm, the dimensions almost match the Tesla Model Y, but are more compact.

This model is equipped with 20-inch rims, with various advanced safety features such as adaptive crude control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, and blind spot monitoring.
The interior is luxurious, with augmented reality head-up display, 15.6-inch touch screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay, 14-speaker audio system, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, and over-the-air update.
In China, Deepal S07 is powered by a rear electric motor with a power of 99 kW and a torque of 320 Nm. In collaboration with a 66.8 kWh battery, the SUV can provide a distance of up to 500 km according to the CLTC cycle.
Meanwhile, another market being explored by this brand is Malaysia. The manufacturer confirmed it would sell S07 and S05 as its second model and will be sold in mid-2025.
