The Robber Stole 30 Thousand US Dollars From The NBA's Top Basketball House
JAKARTA - NBA club Dallas Mavericks' home, Luka Doncic, was targeted for theft on Friday evening local time, as confirmed by its business manager, Lara Beth Seager, who added to the long list of robberies targeting the residences of well-known athletes.
"No one was at home at the time of the incident, and thankfully Luka and his family are in safe condition," Seager said in a statement, quoted by ESPN.
Luka telah melaporkan kejadian ini kepada polisi, dan penyelidikan sedang berlangsung.
According to an internal police report obtained by Dallas Morning News, around USD 30.000 worth of jewelry was reported missing in the incident.
Mavericks coach Jason Kidd said he had spoken directly to Doncic after the incident. "I've contacted Luka and spoken to him after the incident. He's fine. We're grateful no one got hurt," Kidd said.
However, this robbery incident added to the tough week for Doncic. Previously, he suffered a left calf muscle injury during a Christmas Day match against Minnesota Timberwolves. The injury is expected to keep him out for at least a month.

This is not the first time a professional athlete has happened. Previously, the home of Kansas City Chiefs stars, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, also broke into last October.
The same thing happened toRATE Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Burrow, on December 9, as well as to Milwaukee Bucks, Bobby Portis, and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley, whose homes were robbed in November and September, respectively.
Portis even offered a 40,000 US dollar reward for anyone who provided information regarding the robbery of his house.
The NBA, through an FBI investigation, also revealed links between several robberies and South American Transnational Theft Groups that use advanced techniques, including early reconnaissance, drones, and signal misappropriation devices.
Until now, the investigation into the robbery of the Luka Doncic house is still ongoing.
