PDIP Asks For Hasto's Determination As A Suspect Not Widen To Become An Opinion Court

Chairman of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah hopes that the KPK's determination of the suspect PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto will not be framed and widened into an opinion court. He asked that the case against Hasto be seen proportionally.

"Mas Hasto himself has also stated that he will obey the law. This has been proven by Mas Hasto so far, he always obeys every time the KPK makes a summons," Said told reporters, Saturday, December 28.

Said also hopes that the KPK can act proportionally and maintain institutions from anyone's intervention. Thus, according to him, the state of law can be maintained.

"Regarding the situation of a number of parties regarding the KPK's action to decide on Mas Hasto's legal status because there is political intervention, of course the KPK must answer this, so that the dignity of the KPK is well maintained," he said.

Said assessed that all parties do not need to speculate that the KPK will summon the General Chair, Megawati Soekarnoputri. Moreover, as long as he is known as the Party's DPP, the Harun Masiku case has absolutely nothing to do with Megawati.

"Let us not lead to opinions that are more advanced than the legal process itself. We protect that this country is based on law, not on power, nor on opinion courts," he said.

According to Said, if national life continues to be noisy and polemic disproportionately, legal affairs can be in the brain of atik, and there is legal uncertainty, so the people and market players will have negative perceptions.

"Even though we are facing an economic situation that will not be easy going forward. Our middle class has slumped, there have been a number of layoffs. The market is waiting for the direction of economic policy from the President Prabowo government, especially regarding economic policy. Give a conducive atmosphere, there is legal certainty so that the government can work well," said Said.

"Frankly, a number of parties communicated with me, economic actors hoped that clear policies would be needed from the government. It's a pity that President Prabowo, who has only ruled for two months, must face the legacy of the problem, and become a prolonged commotion," he continued.
