OTK Perpetrators Of Burning Of Pakuan Raya Daily Offices Chased By Police

JAKARTA - The burning of the Pakuan Raya Daily Media Office (PAKAR) in Bantarjati Village, which was allegedly burned by an unknown person (OTK) on Saturday, December 28, is still being investigated by the Police. Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Pol. Bismo Teguh Prakoso in Bogor City, said his party was conducting an investigation.

The crime scene (TKP) has been processed by Inafis. "Furthermore, we coordinated with the Forensic Laboratory, and continued the examination of witnesses," said Bismo.

Head of the Bogor City Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Aji Riznaldi Nugroho said his party had pocketed several clues related to the alleged cause of the fire.

"Currently we are looking for supporting evidence to corroborate this allegation. We will investigate witnesses, test laboratory, and comb CCTV," he explained.

One of the eyewitnesses who helped extinguish the fire, an online motorcycle taxi driver named Aditia, admitted that he saw two unidentified men riding motorbikes.

Arriving at the Jambu Warung Police Post which is right in front of the PAKAR Daily Editor's office, he said, one of the men got off his motorbike and walked to the scene.

The person carried cardboard and gasoline in a plastic bottle of mineral water, then immediately set fire to the front of the PAKAR office. Meanwhile, one other perpetrator waited on the motorbike," he said.

After that, Aditia said, the two men went on motorbikes. Meanwhile, he and a shop owner around struggled to extinguish the fire.

The Chief Editor of PAKAR David Rizar Nugroho asked the police to thoroughly investigate this case to explore the motives of the perpetrators. So that this incident does not cause wild speculation.
