Year-End Records Commission III Of The DPR Asks For Handling Of KPK Cases Focus On Returning State Money

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR provides a year-end note regarding the evaluation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) during the period 2024.

Commission III of the DPR assesses that joint synergy between the leadership and the KPK Supervisory Board is improved regarding the function of internal control or supervision.

"Commission III of the DPR also encourages case handling at the KPK to focus on saving state finances and recovering state losses, more effectively, efficiently, and collaboratively with the Police and the Prosecutor's Office," said Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Habiburokhman in Commission III Room, Nusantara II Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, December 27.

In handling cases at the KPK, Commission III of the DPR encourages the KPK to focus on saving state finances and recovering state losses, more effectively, efficiently, and collaboratively with the National Police and the Attorney General's Office.

Commission III of the DPR also noted that the KPK prevention and prosecution program had gone well, but needed to be improved in order to increase the corruption perception index and clean and credible governance.

"This period cannot be given much assessment because it was just appointed a few weeks ago," said Habiburokhman.

As for the year-end records, Commission III of the DPR also gave points to other partners, namely the National Police, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
