Police: There Is No Evidence Of The Involvement Of Mrs. Kandung Agus Bentung In The Case Of Harassment
JAKARTA - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police (Polda) stated that there was no evidence of involvement of the biological mother of the disabled suspect without the initials IWAS alias 'Agus trailing' in the alleged sexual harassment case.
"So far there has been no (involvement), but it is possible that if there is new information, new evidence that does involve his mother, maybe we will carry out an investigation," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Syarif Hidayat in Mataram, NTB, Friday, December 27, confiscated by Antara.
From the series of handling the Agus case, Syarif admitted that there were victims in the statement on the investigation report (BAP) mentioning the name of the biological mother of the suspect IWAS.
"From what we know, the instructions are only one, at that time it was related to the victim who stated that I (Agus) would call my mother first, to provide information. So we have to explore what it looks like," he said.
He said that his party could not immediately make an in-depth effort regarding the involvement of Agus' biological mother without any evidence and reports from the victim.
Meanwhile, Agus' confession in front of investigators has also stated that his biological mother was not involved in this case.
"From Agus' own statement that his mother was not at the crime scene, it was just communication, that's also not all communicated with his mother, there were only a few cases of the victim calling his mother," he said.
Furthermore, Syarif emphasized that his party is still focused on resolving Agus' case from the report of a victim. The case file is now just waiting for the results of the prosecutor's research.
