PLN Together Meeting, City Government Ensures No Power Outages In Palembang On The New Year 2025
The City Government (Pemkot) of Palembang in South Sumatra (Sumsel) has confirmed that there will be no power outages on New Year's Eve 2025 because it has been anticipated with PLN in the event of a problem.
Acting (Pj) Mayor of Palembang Cheka Virgowansyah said that he had held a meeting with PLN in Palembang, he asked officers not to extinguish this new year's moment, and could anticipate if there were problems.
"We have invited the PLN officer meeting, we ask that the moment of the turn off of New Year's Eve PLN does not turn off electricity and PLN has agreed to that, we also ask that if there is trouble for PLN officers to overcome it so that a power outage does not occur," said Cheka in Palembang, Friday, December 27, confiscated by Antara.
He asked residents of Palembang City not to worry on New Year's Eve if there are no serious problems, the electricity will stay alive. He also asked residents of Palembang City to carry out positive activities on New Year's Eve.

Cheka said the New Year's Eve drone show was an activity to increase tourists coming to Palembang City.
He said the drone performance would fly by forming various formations ranging from forming the Ampera logo, Belido, songket, lafaz Allah, lafaz Muhammad, five houses, and others.
"This aims to make residents happy and invite tourists to increase the attractiveness of Palembang City," he said.
He added that currently his party is preparing for three major programs, namely Palembang Shining, a global city, a city that grows in technology.
So that the drone performance was chosen as an event that attracted many people, an event related to technology that has never been carried out on the island of Sumatra and will be the first and most successful.
The drone show will involve human resources and AI technology in operating them.
