After G6, Xpeng Will Launch MPV X9 In Neighboring Country?

JAKARTA - The Chinese car brand Xpeng appears to be preparing its newest model after the G6 officially launched last August.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Friday, December 27, Bermaz Xpeng is seen preparing the X9 model for the neighboring country's automotive market and is already roaming the streets.

This one electric MPV looks like it is on Progress Street, Subang, and reads 'Bermaz Xpeng Research & Development'. Indeed, the RHD version has been introduced in Hong Kong, which is offered in two variants with 2-2-3 seating configurations.

As is known, this one model was officially present in 2023 where the Smart Electric Platform Architecture 2.0 (SEPA 2.0) platform was embedded. In design, this one car has a fairly firm body line that makes it have a strong impression. Regarding dimensions, X9 has a size of 5,293 mm long, 1,988 mm wide, 1,785 mm high and a wheel distance of 3,160 mm.

This model comes with two variants, for Front Wheel Drive (FWD) which packs lithium iron phosphate or LFP 84.5 kWh batteries, the battery offers a distance of 610 km in CLTC counts. The variant offers 320 ps and 450 Nm of power, and can accelerate 1-100 km/hour within 7.7 seconds.

In addition, there is also a next variant supported by an NMC battery with a capacity of 101.5 kWh, which offers a distance of up to 702 km in CLTC counts. This variant removes the output of 503 PS and 640 Nm, and the acceleration is 0-100 km/hour only 5.7 seconds.

This car is also equipped with fast battery charging (DC), which can charge 10-80 percent in just 20 minutes. In addition, it is also equipped with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function with a capacity of 3.3 kW output.
