44 Foreigners Violators Deported By Surabaya Immigration Throughout 2024
SURABAYA - The Class I Immigration Office Special for TPI Surabaya took firm action against 44 foreign nationals throughout 2024 who violated applicable regulations. The most common cases of violations were exceeding the residence permit, or overstay.
"The achievements achieved by friends are quite impressive. Alhamdulillah, the Surabaya Immigration Office won an award in November. Friends managed to catch the fugitive perpetrators of international human smuggling. The award was immediately given by the Minister of Immigration and Corrections of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Agus Andrianto at the Jagratara Award last November," said Head of the Class I Immigration Office Special TPI Surabaya, Ramdhani in his statement in Surabaya, citing ANTARA on Wednesday 25 December.
He said that his party also managed to collect Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp. 115,678,041,050 with the highest income coming from the revenue of the Indonesian Republic of Indonesia travel documents (Paspor) of Rp. 62,076,400,000. (Data as of December 23, 2024).
"Alhamdulillah, in the first semester of 2024, we won two awards at once. First, the best is the work unit for implementing the ceiling category of Rp. 15-50 billion from the Head of the Sidoarjo KPPN and ranked first in the performance of the budget implementation of the DIPA Medium ceiling category from the Regional Office of DJPB East Java," he said.

Likewise with immigration services, the Surabaya Immigration Office throughout 2024 has issued 127,354 passports, with details of a regular 24-page passport of 1,849 passport books, a usual 48-page passport of 83,710 passport books and 48-page electronic passports of 41,805 passport books (Data as of December 23, 2024).
"For the immigration residence permit category throughout 2024, the Surabaya Immigration Office issued 3,922 residence permits with details of 1,049 residence permits for visits, 2,690 limited stay permits (ITAS) and 183 permanent residence permits (ITAP)," he said.

Ramdhani added that the delay in passenger departure for the 2024 period was 1252 passengers. The delay in departure is suspected to be a plan to go abroad as a Non-Procedural Indonesian Migrant Worker (PMI-NP).
"November 2024, officers at TPI Juanda succeeded in uncovering 5 people who were suspected of selling human organs, namely the kidneys illegally to India. This is the result of the hard work of immigration officers as well as cooperation between agencies at Juanda International Airport. Facilities at Juanda International Airport will soon have an autogate. With this autogate, we hope to improve service and passenger traffic, especially during this Nataru holiday," he said.
