JCI Closed Monday, Increasing Significantly By 4.08 Percent To Level 4,811.83
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed significantly higher on Monday, April 6 trading. JCI closed higher by 4.08 percent or 188.40 to the level of 4,811.83.
In closing the trade, there were 287 stocks rising, 131 stocks weakening, and 135 stocks stagnating. Trading volume was recorded at 9.06 billion shares and was transacted at a value of IDR7.38 trillion.
The benchmark index also strengthened compactly. The LQ45 index strengthened 4.89 percent, IDX30 gained 4.27 percent, and IDXBUMN20 gained 5.6 percent.
The supporting sector for the strengthening of the JCI was supported by the property sector which strengthened by 7.13 percent, the infrastructure sector which strengthened 5.57 percent, and the agri sector rose 5.09 percent.
This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers included PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) which rose 25.00 percent to Rp570, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) which rose 25.00 percent to Rp95, and PT Wijaya Karya. (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) which pegged 24.73 percent to Rp1,135.
While stocks that are in the top losers ranks, among others, PT KMI Wire & Cable Tbk (KBLI) which fell 6.80 percent to Rp466, PT Bima Sakti Pertiwi Tbk (PAMG) which fell 6.73 percent to Rp97, and PT Kresna Graha Investama Tbk (KREN) which weakened 6.62 percent to Rp282.
