Oleksandr Usyk Ready To Clashe With Daniel Dubois
JAKARTA Oleksandr Usyk is willing to fight Daniel Dubois after he beat Tyson Fury in their rematch.
Usyk won the duel through a unanimous figure decision over Fury to guard his heavyweight belt WBA, WBC, and WBO in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
Dubois climbed into the ring after the win and immediately challenged Usyk. He asked the Ukrainian hero to want to have a rematch with him.
"Usyk, I want revenge. I want revenge, Usyk. It's really good tonight. God bless you," said Dubois as quoted by Boxing Scene.
Dubois previously lost in the ninth round against Usyk in August 2023. In that duel he threw a shot which he thought was legal, but Usyk considered it too low.

Their fight was later delayed long before Usyk came out victorious. Thus, if something happens, their rematch can run much hotter.
"I want revenge for the last robbery. Let's do it. Let's start. Where is Frank (Warren) (Warren)? Make it happen," said Dubois.
Usyk then grabbed the microphone and responded to the challenge. He asked Saudi Arabia's adviser, Turkey Alalshikh, to make the fight happen.
"Your Majesty made me fight Daniel Dubois. Thank you very much. I am ready for the next fight. No problem," he said.
Dubois against Usyk is likely to only materialize by the end of 2025. Before that, the owner of the IBF belt will first face Joseph Parker on February 22, 2025.
If he wins then he most likely goes straight to Usyk. Their duel will automatically compete for the undisputed world heavyweight title.
