Taylor Swift Donates 4 Billion For Children Needed Through Operation Breakthrough

JAKARTA - Taylor Swift again shows her concern as an example figure. The pop superstar has just donated USD 250 thousand or around 4 billion rupiah to children in need.

The donation was channeled through Operation Breakthrough, a non-profit program that provides assistance to children from poor workers' families. The foundation is managed by Mary Esselman in Kansas City, which is also supported by Travis Kelce, Taylor's lover.

"Our children are very excited. We asked if they wanted to make a thank you video, and you could see a lot of enthusiastic people in making it," said Esselman quoted from USA Today, Monday, December 23.

Some children express their gratitude with various expressions and ways in the minute-long video. They compactly say 'Thank you, Taylor,' for sending back affection to the talented singer and songwriter.

Donations from Swift will be distributed through three programs: labor and entrepreneurship development programs which include 10 laboratories where children can learn industrial trade, programs before and after school that provide child care services for families while school is on holiday, and the last is the initial learning program.
