DPO Narkoba Roman Nazarenco Creates Basement In Vila Bali To Hide Operations

JAKARTA - Police arrested a Ukrainian citizen named Roman Nazarenco who was on the Red Notice of Drug Dealers from Bangkok Thailand.

Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa said this arrest was a collaboration between International Relations (Hubinter) and Thai Immigration.

Roman was arrested while flying to Dubai from Thailand. He is the perpetrator who fled last May.

"We have secured the controller, controller rather than the case in May, namely the hydroponic case in the basement in Bali which was released by Mr. Kabareskrim at that time," Mukti told reporters at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Sunday, December 22.

"He ran from May for 109 days he was in Thailand. As soon as he was about to leave Thailand for Dubai, Alhamdulillah he could be secured by immigration," he continued

Mukti explained that Roman was the controller and maker of the drug laboratory.

"He's also the one who made the basement, because villas are different, when in Bali there was a villa without a basement but he had a basement inside himself, underground. That's what they designed," he said.

For information, the Directorate of Narcotics Crime, Bareskrim Polri, raided a villa in Canggu Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. The villa is suspected of being a drug factory.

The raids were carried out on Thursday, May 2, 2024, and then. Three men consisting of two twins from Ukraine Ivan Volovod or IV and Mikhayla Volovod and a Russian named Konstantin Krutz were arrested.

The modus operandi used by this syndicate is to create a clinical drug lab in the midst of residential areas as camouflage to disguise the suspect's covert activities.
