Defeat Tyson Furry, Oleksandr Usyk Defends Heavyweight World Champion Belt

JAKARTA - Oleksandr Usyk managed to defend the heavyweight world title belt WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and WBC on Sunday, December 22 morning WIB. Usyk achieved this result after winning absolute points or unimanary decision over Tyson Fury.

In the match held in Riyadh, the three judges in charge gave Usyk the 116-112 advantage. The result made Usyk succeed in defending the world championship belt.

From the start, Usyk vs Fury's duel had been fierce. In the first four rounds, the two boxers tried to play openly and alternately exchanged punches.

Entering the fifth round, Usyk tried to break down Tyson Fury's defense. Although he was showered with Uppercuts from Fury, this did not shake Usyk.

Overall, in the first eight rounds of the game, it really still doesn't look like the dominant boxer.

Entering the next two rounds, Tyson Fury and Usyk did not show any significant decline in performance. The second foot attack was still fairly good and supported their action in the ring.

In the 11th round, a left hook from Usyk was able to land a landslide on Tyson Fury's face. After that moment, Usyk tried to be more aggressive but failed to knock down Tyson Fury.

Scrolling into the final round, Usyk and Tyson Fury continued to try to spend all their remaining power. A number of combination attacks from the two fighters managed to enter.

Until the 12th round bell was almost over, the two fighters were still standing in the ring. As a result, to determine the winner of this duel, the jury had to make an assessment.

The three judges considered Usyk superior with a score of 116-112 and Usyk also won through a unimanious decision. The jury's decision was quite surprising considering that the match was fairly a draw and it was not seen in the scorecard shown by the referee.
