Christmas and New Year Season, Hutama Karya Records 101,776 Vehicles Crossing Trans Sumatra Toll Road
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) reported that 101,776 vehicles crossed the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holiday period (Nataru 2024/2025) or since Friday, December 20, 2024, until today.
In detail, vehicles crossing the Terbanggi Besar–Kayu Agung (Terpeka) Toll Road reached 17,812 vehicles or an increase of 30 percent from the normal traffic volume (VLL).
Vehicles crossing the Palembang–Prabumulih (Palindra & Inprabu) Toll Road were 14,000 vehicles or an increase of 12 percent from the normal VLL.
Then, vehicles crossing the Bengkulu–Taba Penanjung (Bengtaba) Toll Road reached 1,670 vehicles or an increase of 9.29 percent from the normal VLL.
Meanwhile, vehicles crossing the Betung–Tempino–Jambi Toll Road Section 3 (Bayung Lencir–Tempino) were 6,190 vehicles or an increase of 37.22 percent from the normal VLL.

Then, vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru–XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road were 9,065 vehicles or an increase of 23.87 percent compared to normal VLL.
Meanwhile, vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru-Dumai (Permai) Toll Road were 17,701 vehicles or an increase of 19.8 percent compared to normal VLL.
Vehicles crossing the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road were 11,293 vehicles or 25.39 percent higher than normal VLL.
Then, vehicles crossing the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat (Kutepat) Toll Road reached 11,073 vehicles or an increase of 11 percent from normal VLL.
Meanwhile, vehicles crossing the Binjai-Tanjung Pura Toll Road were 8,676 vehicles or an increase of 6.89 percent from normal VLL.
Finally, vehicles crossing the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road (Seulimeum-Baitussalam segment) were 4,296 vehicles or an increase of 42.23 percent from normal VLL.
EVP Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, Adjib Al Hakim, said that his party will continue to provide information on the latest traffic developments periodically.
"We appeal to all toll road users to always check the condition of their vehicles before driving, ensure that the vehicles are in prime condition, and do not drive while sleepy," said Adjib.
"If you feel sleepy, please pull over and take a break. Also, make sure that your electronic money card is in good condition and has sufficient balance before traveling," he said again.
