Effendi Simbolon Gives Christmas Message To Megawati: Be Better With Mr. Jokowi Who You Hate

JAKARTA - Former PDI-P politician (PDIP) Effendi Simbolon asked the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri to make up with the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi). He reminded the former Governor of DKI Jakarta to also contribute to the party bearing the bull symbol.

"The message to Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri is to be peaceful in your heart and be kind to Mr. Joko Widodo, who you hate," said Effendi at the Simbolon Mar Christmas 2024 event some time ago quoted on Saturday, December 21.

Effendi admitted that he was concerned and saddened by the PDIP's attitude. He was surprised that his former party could suddenly hate Jokowi.

"What kind of crime does Pak Jokowi have for the PDI-P? I am sad, I am concerned," he said.

Furthermore, Effendi also advised Megawati not to judge Jokowi. He said, don't forget that Jokowi has many services for the community and PDIP.

"I also ordered Mrs. Mega that all of them have time for mothers. We don't have to want to judge people," said the former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"Sadari juga bahwa Pak Jokowi juga baik dan mencintai, dan banyak jasanya bagi bangsa ini, dan juga banyak jasa bagi PDI Perjuangan," lanjut Effendi.

It is known that Effendi was one of the PDIP cadres who was fired for violating the party's orders. He is considered not to support the pair of candidates promoted by the party in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election, namely Pramono Anung-Rano Karno.

In addition, PDIP also fired Jokowi and his son-in-law, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Bobby Nasution. The three of them are considered to have violated the Party's Articles of Association/Household Budget or AD/ART.
