Ahead Of Sum 41's Last 13 Shows, Deck Whibley: I'm Aware This Will End
JAKARTA - Deryck Whibley (vocals) spoke openly regarding the last 13 shows that will be held with Sum 41. He admitted that he was finally aware that his band had been ending since 1997.
The 44-year-old vocalist admitted that the 13 shows that will take place in Canada in January made him aware of something.
"Wow, what's strange to me is that I never really paid attention to certain shows or certain dates. For the first time, it really made me aware that a show in Canada would be the last show," Whibyy said in a recent interview with Jesse Modz and JD Lewis of iHeartRadio Canada.
"So, I see it as a whole, not just a certain date," he continued.
Whibyy said what he felt ahead of the last show was very different from before.
"This trend feels like, 'Wow, we still have a lot more tours, so many parts of the tour to go on, so many shows to (play).' While now only four weeks left, and this is the last show," he said.
