BNN Bogor Holds Raid On Night Entertainment Places To Anticipate Drugs Ahead Of The Nataru Holiday

BOGOR - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of West Java Province, together with the Bogor Regency BNN, held raids at a number of nightclubs (THM) in Bogor City and Regency to prevent narcotics trafficking ahead of the Christmas and New Year's 2025 holidays.

Head of the Bogor Regency BNN, Kombes Pol. Anggun Cahyono, revealed that this raid was carried out on Thursday night, December 19 until early Friday morning. This operation involved cooperation with the Bogor Police, Bogor City Police, and Denpom III/1.

"About six locations we raided, with a total of 88 people we examined for urine and vape liquid. Thank God, all the results were negative," said Anggun, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 20.

This raid is part of security efforts to welcome the Christmas and New Year's (Nataru) holidays, which will be carried out continuously during that period.

"Not only today, we will continue to hold raids, God willing, next week until the Nataru holiday ends. The focus tonight is entertainment venues and massage places," added Kombes Pol. Anggun.

Apart from visitors, several nightclubs also conducted urine tests on their employees to ensure that no one was involved in drug abuse.

This raid targeted three locations in Bogor City and three in Bogor Regency. "Saturday, we also plan to conduct raids in the rest area before Ciawi, in collaboration with the Department of Transportation," he said.

On the same occasion, Kombes Pol Anggun appealed to the public to celebrate the Nataru holiday with positive and drug-free activities.

"We invite people to take a vacation in a healthy and positive way, without being involved in drugs," he concluded.
