Students Demo At The Bulungan Kejari-Polresta, Demand Teachers Perpetrators Of Obscenity Of Elementary School Students Arrested

TANJUNG SELOR A number of Cipayung Plus members of Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) rallied in front of the Bulungan District Attorney's office (Kejari) and the Bulungan Police.

The peaceful action of the students and students questioned the legal process against perpetrators of cases of sexual harassment against minors allegedly carried out by teachers with the status of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in Bulungan Regency, with the initials SD.

In addition to asking for the acceleration of the legal process against perpetrators, students also urged the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) and BPKSDM Bulungan to dishonorably dismiss and revoke their status from PPPK employees.

"We urge the Bulungan Kejari to immediately delegate this case to the Tanjung Selor District Court (PN) and ask that the perpetrators be sentenced to appropriate punishment according to the criminal acts committed, including child abuse, death threats, and violations of the educator's code of ethics," said the head of PMII Bulungan, Syahira during the speech, Thursday, December 19.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bulungan Kejari, Hardijono Sidayat, through the Head of Intel Reza Pahlepi said the legal process against the teacher continued even though the case file had been returned to the Pulungan Police investigators or the P19 stage.

"We ensure that the legal process against the ongoing perpetrators is in accordance with procedures and will immediately be tried at the District Court, the perpetrators are charged with multiple articles, including child protection," he said.

The same thing was also emphasized, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bulungan Police, Kompol Belnas Pali Padang.

The perpetrators who have been named as suspects are subject to Article 81 paragraphs (2) and (3) in conjunction with Article 76D Sub-Article 82 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 76E of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2016 concerning Tap Perpol No.1 of 2016 becomes Law on the Second Amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. Article 6 letter c in conjunction with Article 15 paragraph (1) letter B of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence.

"Tomorrow, we will submit the case files for the SD suspect to the Bulungan Kejari, after being declared complete (P-21) by the Public Prosecutor," he said.
