Aceh Sharia Police Supervise Rice Sellers, Karaoke, Billiard Games And Online Games During The Day
JAKARTA - Civil Service Police Unit and Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) Banda Aceh supervised people selling rice during the day of Ramadan 1422 Hijri.
"We are monitoring and continuing to conduct raids if anyone sells rice during the day, we are safe," said Head of Civil Service Police Unit and WH Banda Aceh Heru Triwijanarko, as reported by Antara, Thursday, April 15.
Heru said, not only rice, but the government also prohibits people from selling wet cakes before the set time, namely after asr prayer or at 16.00 western Indonesia time.
"Therefore we conduct raids in all rice businesses, if found then we will be immediately acted on," he said.
Heru said Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) Banda Aceh city has banned businessmen restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, hotels, and entertainment venues from selling food and drinks to the public starting imsak until 16.30 western Indonesia time.
Then, the government also asked all types of businesses and services in Banda Aceh not to do activities from isha prayer until the completion of Tarawih. It can be reopened at 21.30 until 24.00 western Indonesia time.
Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) also prohibits karaoke activities, operating billiards games, as well as various types of online games and other entertainment during the holy month of Ramadan.
"On the basis of these appeals we will continue to monitor, supervise, and conduct raids on businesses to ensure that they do not sell rice during the day," Heru said.
