Harvey Moeis: My Children Rapha And Mikha, Papa Not Corruptors

JAKARTA - The defendant Harvey Moeis as the extension of PT Refined Bangka Tin (RBT) confirmed the message to his children in the plea note read out in the trial that he was not a corruptor.

"My children, Rapha and Mikha, papa are not corruptors. Papa is not an official who can abuse his authority," said Harvey at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), Wednesday, December 18.

"I hope there are good things for the progress of the nation that are worth all of this. My hope is to improve tin governance, not just a slogan, don't just dwell on my wife's bags and jewelry," said the celebrity husband Sandra Dewi.

In the case of alleged corruption in the management of tin commodity trading in the mining permit (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk. in 2015 '2022, Harvey was charged with imprisonment for 12 years and a fine of Rp. 1 billion with the provision that if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced with imprisonment for 1 year.

In addition, Harvey is also required to be subject to additional penalties in the form of payment of replacement money amounting to Rp210 billion, subsidiary to imprisonment for six years.
