Server Dungeons And Dragons: Dark Alliance Will Close On December 24
JAKARTA - The developer of Tuque Games has confirmed that their game server titled Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, will close on December 24.
On the update on its Steam page, the developer said that after the server closure, the game would no longer be available for purchase.
"Basic norms and all DLCs are still available to play in offline single-play mode by anyone who currently owns them," the studio wrote in its notes.
Dark Alliance was launched on June 22, 2021 as a promising, action-packed adventure, and filled with iconic monsters, legendary characters, and epic loots, but, some sources say the game is not in accordance with player expectations.
"Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is a boring cooperative adventure with lots of bugs," IGN wrote in their review. IGN even gave a 4/10 score for the title.
They also said that the Baldur's Gate 3, which was launched in 2023 as an adaptation of the Dungeons & Dragons, is much more perfect than the Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance.
The game is also very successful commercially, even making approximately 90 million US dollars (Rp1.45 trillion).
