Mick Jagger Explains the Reasons for the Anti-Vaccine Satire in the Eazy Sleazy Song

JAKARTA - Mick Jagger did an interesting way to satirize the anti-vaccine, namely through a song called Eazy Sleazy.

In the song released on Tuesday, April 13, Jagger invited Dave Grohl to fill in the vocals. The lyrics are about what they went through during the COVID-19 pandemic and how false information spread during this time.

Through a new interview with Rolling Stone, Jagger explains the reason why he wrote these lyrics.

'I have some friends and relationships and they don't care and that's... They're irrational. Sure, there's no point talking to them about (anti-vaccine). They don't understand. They got what they believed in and they believed in it".

The Rolling Stones also expressed confusion with people who don't believe in vaccines.

"Vaccines are nothing new. When I was a kid, which was a very long time ago, people died of polio. They weren't there the next day. And it's eradicated through vaccines", he added.

He took inspiration from seeing the many anti-vaccines that only believe in their own theories.

"Would you rather get a vaccine if you have kids or do you like it if your feet don't work? You can't argue with these people". Regardless, he expects many people to change their minds about vaccines.

Eazy Sleazy's own song became one of the songs Mick Jagger wrote quickly. He invited Dave Grohl because Grohl used to work from home and was willing to mix for the song.
