TNI-Police Officers Hunt KKB Perpetrators Of Motorcycle Shooting At Papua Summit

JAYAPURA - TNI and Police officers pursue the perpetrators of the shooting of a motorcycle taxi driver in Kampung Eromaga, Puncak Regency, Papua.

Kasatgas Public Relations Nemangkawi Kombes Iqbal Al Qudusy said the motorcycle taxi driver who was the victim of the shooting named Udin (41) residents of Pasar Ilaga complex, haji Umar's house.

From the identification and information of residents at the crime scene, said Kombes Iqbal, the victim was shot by an armed criminal group (KKB).

After receiving information of the shooting of the motorcycle taxi driver, at 13:59 WIT as many as 50 joint TNI/Police personnel shifted to the crime scene.

Upon arrival at the crime scene at 14.19 WIT, the team conducted a crime scene security, while the medical team evacuated the victim to an ambulance, then at 14:35 WIT took him to the Ilaga Health Center to conduct a post mortem as well as identify the victim's identity.

The results of the post mortem, he continued, showed that the victim died from a gunshot wound to the right side of the head through the right cheek and a gunshot wound to the right chest through the left waist.

"From the testimony of residents, it is known that the driver who carried out the shooting of the motorcycle taxi driver in Ilaga is KKB Numbuk Telenggen", Iqbal said.

Police immediately investigated by digging up the facts of information around the crime scene to uncover this shooting case.

"TNI /Polri do not stay silent. We're going after the shooter. Further info and updates will be submitted by the authorities", said Kombes Iqbal Al Qudusy.
