Head Of LPD Buleleng Becomes A Corruption Suspect Of IDR 10.4 Billion, The Mode Is A Fictitious Loan

DENPASAR - Bali Police revealed the modus operandi of the former Chairman of the Village Credit Institution (LPD) of Ngis Traditional Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency for the 2009-2022 period I Nyoman Beratan (48) suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption of funds reaching Rp10.4 billion.

Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Bali Police Ditreskrimsus AKBP Arif Batubara said the INB suspect formed a fictitious loan at the Ngis Traditional Village LPD using his own name, family name and other people's names from 2009 to 2022.

"The loan that was formed was used to pay the principal installments of the loan, pay interest on loans, repay the previous loan and use it for personal gain," said Arif, Tuesday, December 17.

The suspect made withdrawals and used time deposit funds (deposits) for LPD customers from Ngis Traditional Village, from 2013 to 2022.

Customer deposit funds are used to pay interest on the deposits used, pay interest on loans, pay principal installments on loans, repay loans and some of them are used for personal gain.

In addition, the suspect made withdrawals and the use of voluntary savings funds for LPD customers from the Ngis Traditional Village for the period 2018 to 2021 where the customer's voluntary savings funds were used to pay interest on the voluntary savings used, partly used by the suspect.

Based on an audit conducted by the Public Accountant office Dony Ramli on the financial management of the LPD of the Ngis Traditional Village, investigators found that there was a use of funds for loans formed by the Chairperson of the Ngis Village LPD for the 2009-2022 period amounting to Rp3,465,652,410.

In addition, the deposit funds used by the suspect for the period 2013-2022 amounted to Rp4,566,134,000, the use of funds for customer voluntary savings by the suspect as the Chair of the Ngis Village LPD for the period 2018-2021 amounting to Rp2,410,000,000.

Thus, the amount of state financial losses or state economics Cq LPD Ngis Adat Village tejakula Buleleng amounted to Rp10,441,786,410.
